What an affiliate link means
Some links on this site — for example the “View offer” or “Open account” buttons — are affiliate links. If you click such a link and sign up at the casino, we may earn a commission. This is a normal, legal way for independent comparison sites like Trustly Casinos to fund their work without charging the reader.
An affiliate link is not an advert whose content someone dictates to us. We decide ourselves which Trustly and bank link casinos we recommend and in what order — a commission agreement gives no partner the right to change our rating. That's exactly why we treat advertising disclosure as a self-evident part of honest comparison.
An example of how we mark affiliate links: “Affiliate link: if you sign up through our link, we may earn a commission. This does not change the offer's price for you, nor our rating criteria.”
Affiliate links are usually action buttons like “View offer” or “Open account”, and you'll see a short disclosure next to them. Ordinary content links pointing to our own articles and guides are not affiliate links.
How we earn
Our revenue comes mainly from affiliate commissions: if we refer you to a casino and you become a player, the casino pays us an agreed referral fee. Some agreements are a one-off fee per new player, some share long-term revenue — but none of these models changes the offer's price for you. The bonus, wagering requirement and withdrawal speed stay exactly the same whether you use our link or go to the casino's site directly.
We don't sell ad slots inside the ranking and don't charge for anyone to appear higher in our “best of” list. If a casino has no affiliate agreement with us, it can still appear in our comparisons — independence means we make the decision, not the payment.
What this does NOT mean
The offer, bonus and terms are the same whether or not you use our link.
The ranking is based on our methodology and public criteria, not the size of an affiliate commission.
Always check the bonus terms, wagering requirements, withdrawal rules and licence directly on the casino's site.
Responsibility for the games, bonuses and withdrawals rests with the casino and its licensor, not with us.
Independence and impartial ratings
Independence is the foundation of our work. To keep our ratings impartial, we deliberately keep two things apart: the money that funds the site, and the criteria by which we rate casinos. The rating is done by the same people on the same basis — withdrawal speed, Trustly and bank link support, licence, wagering requirements and customer support — regardless of whether an affiliate agreement exists.
Our methodology is public so you can check for yourself what the ranking is built on. If you spot an error in a rating, or feel a recommendation isn't fair, let us know — we'll correct the content, and we value the reader's trust above any single affiliate agreement.
Why we talk about this
Trust is our only asset. If we hid our affiliate relationships, you couldn't trust our ratings. That's why we show advertising disclosure transparently: not only on this page, but next to the casino buttons too, so you always know when a link is an affiliate link.
This kind of open disclosure is good practice across all responsible marketing. We want you to make your decision on the basis of complete information and never to feel misled.
Trustly Casinos is an independent comparison site, is not the official Trustly website and is not affiliated with Trustly Group AB. “Trustly” is a trademark of its owner. Gambling is intended for players 21+ — play responsibly.

Honest money: how an independent site funds itself
Transparency starts with saying plainly how our work earns its money. Some of the links on this page — for example the "See offer" or "Open account" buttons — are affiliate links. If you click such a link and register at a casino, we may earn a commission. This is a common and lawful way for independent comparison sites to fund themselves without charging the reader.
What matters is what an affiliate link does NOT change. It does not affect our verdict or ranking. We decide for ourselves which Trustly and bank-link casinos to recommend, and we do so on the basis of a public methodology. If an operator pays slowly or ties a bonus to unfair terms, we write it plainly, even if we have a partnership with it.
What this means for you
- Free for you — registering through an affiliate link costs you nothing extra.
- Independent verdict — commission does not buy a better place in the ranking.
- Transparency — we mark offers and links clearly.
- Your choice — you can always go to the casino directly, without our link.
So why use affiliate links at all? Because they let us keep the site free for the reader and the content independent. The alternative would be a paywall or advertising that dictates the content — neither would serve you better. Our model ties our interest to yours: only a trustworthy recommendation brings a reader back.
